After Nickolas's untimely passing in 1972, Harvey assumed full ownership and continued to lead the business until handing the reins to his son, Alan Schmitz, in 1988. Alan upheld the family legacy by further expanding the company's reach. Following Alan's retirement in 2013, the company transitioned to the third generation with Matthew Schmitz at the helm.
