Operation Fresh Start, Inc. (OFS) is a Madison, Wisconsin-based organization dedicated to empowering young adults aged 16-24. Since its founding in 1970 by Jack Osteraas, OFS has served over 9,000 individuals, helping them find pathways to self-sufficient careers through education, mentoring, and job training. The organization was established with a mission to provide opportunities for youth, particularly those facing barriers to education and employment, enabling them to earn their high school diplomas, driver's licenses, and crucial career skills.
