The journey of Linda Cohen into the world of design began during her high school years, where she first explored color and space through a school project. This passion for aesthetics was further developed through college experiences, including designing theater sets and studying architectural design in Rome, Italy. After earning her Master’s in Design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Linda worked with notable firms, including Tsoi/Kobus and Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership, before establishing LSC Design Studio in 2005.
LSC Design Studio has pioneered sustainable interior projects, with one of its earliest milestones being a pilot program for BuiltGreen that focused on office tenant improvement projects. Linda's design philosophy centers on the belief that interiors should enhance the human experience, making thoughtful choices that engage with the environment.
The firm is a member of various professional organizations such as the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and has contributed to academia as a faculty member in multiple interior design programs.
